Featured in the cover article "Maggy Pavlou: Felted Landscapes" by Kathaleen Roberts, in Jan/Feb 2009 issue of Fiberarts magazine.
Maggy Pavlou was given the Fiberarts Magazine Award for her Cactus Series Coat with Scarf during the 14th Annual ArtWear Fashion Week at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, Colorado, a benefit for the center's visual-arts program. This award is given to an artist whose work complements the aesthetic direction and mission of the magazine.
Outback Fibers Felting Fabric is needled prefelt wool batts imported from Australia. This felting fabric is the most innovative product on the market and is made from Extrafine Merino (20 microns) finely needled into pre-felt yardage, approximately 60" wide and 80" long, yet weighing only a few ounces. It is so sheer, one can see through it.
Kevin's wife, Diana, is the model in photos.
